I want to start with the Arduino board daniel told me about. It eases the development of embedded systems as well as USB devices. Therefore I/O equipment can be developed very fast by using the extensive open source library provided by the Arduino team.
On my way to work I was reading the “news” on my mobile. A feed from boingboing reminded me of the Arduino. Some teenager “cloned” super mario with the arduino. Good stuff!
Last week I read about Sony BMG buying all they could get from the Jacksons to make a fortune from the passing of this legend. I can only hope some money will be used for good. The deal is worth at least $200 million and covers the release of 10 albums. For more info see dailyfinance.com
Facts I came by this week:
(1) There are 100 times more non-human calls in our bodies than human cells. Who knew that, except some biologists?
(2) 55% of the content in australian newspapers is fed to the masses by PR agencies. Martin watch out and bring one as a present :)
This is it for now. Next post will include Walmart and marijuhana, facebook vs. google and a poor girl from afghanistan.
